History

The French Bulldog was a smaller version of the bulldog bred in England in the 1800s.

Appearance

Small to medium sized, active, muscular, compact, alert and curious expression, large head with big "bat" ears

Color and Coat

The coat is short and smooth with loose skin around the head and shoulders. Colors of the Frenchie include brindle, fawn, white, cream, red and chocolate.
