Hi! How is your summer going? We have been staying inside. Mom says it is way too hot outside! The temperature here was over 100 for an entire week straight! Keep all your furry friends cool this summer with water and shade.

Sophie and I met the new dogs that moved in next door. There is a fun big brown dog, an old chocolate lab, and a little white furball! They are very nice!

Such a hard life...

We have had a busy month! Mom and dad went out of town for a week so granny came to stay with us! We had a lot of fun, ate a lot of treats and played outside. We even found a bird nest in the tree out back!

We have also been finding all kinds of fun animals around the yard! Turtles, lizards, birds, squirrels, even snakes!

Mom and dad bought us a new bed. Sophie totally took over, now I sleep on the floor by myself. As soon as mom falls asleep, I jump in the bed!

My 4th birthday was April 30th! Mom and dad got me new toys and yummy chewies. Sophie tried to steal my stuff, but mom wouldnt let her! Other than that, we have just been having fun in the sun and getting lots of cuddle time in :) Talk with you soon!

Fun Friday

The other day mom and I saw one of our neighbors pulled over on the side of the road. He was petting a German Shorthaired Pointer near the park. Mommy stopped to see if they needed help. It turns out the kind neighbor had found the dog, and we knew he lived two houses away from us. We took the dog home and the front door was wide open. We rang the doorbell a few times and checked in the back yard. The family was no where to be found! We left the dog in the house. We love our nice neighbors who are willing to do a good deed!

Today, the weather is so nice, low 80s and not a cloud in the sky! Sophie just likes to play dress up and lay on the deck all day. I helped mom with yard work. Have a good weekend!

Trip to the Veterinarian

Today we got to go for a car ride! I was kind of sad when we drove past the dog park and ended up at the veterinarian office. They said I was in great health and everything looks good. They told mommy that Sophie needs to watch her weight. I wonder how that could have happened...

Sophie was Bad......

Sophie was very bad girl and thought the pizza on the counter was hers. I wanted to eat some, but I just stared at it. Mommy saw this really well behaved Weimaraner at the grocery store. I hope we get to go to the park this weekend!

Fun Day at the Park

This weekend we went to the dog park again! My aunt and uncle came to watch us play and Sophie went crazy and just wanted to spend time with them. I found a fun Boxer to chase while he chased the ball. Dont forget to check out my videos on YouTube!

Weimaraner Sophie's 5th Birthday!

Hi, my name is Colby and I am a German Shorthaired Pointer. Last Saturday was my big sisters 5th birthday! Her name is Sophie and she is a Weimaraner. We went to the dog park and played for almost 2 hours! There was a pretty Vizsla named Amber and I chased her. I barked at a Chihuahua. We also saw a Great Dane, Whippet, Chocolate Labrador Retriever and a ton of others!

Sophie just wanted to play with the humans and when we got home she would not get out of the car.
