History

The Bulldog originated in the British Isles and was courageous and could feel no pain. They could date back to the 1600s and were used for fighting in England and bull baiting early on.

Appearance

Medium sized, low and thick body, wide shoulders, kind and courageous attitude, short and thick neck

Color and Coat

Short, glossy and fine coat. The skin is soft and loose with a wrinkled face. Colors can be red brindle, other brindle colors, solid white, solid red or fawn, and piebald.
