History
The Siberian Husky is said to come from the eastern Siberian peninsula and desceneded from a sled dog. They participated in the 408 mile long dogsled race in 1908 called the All-Alaskan Sweepstakes.

Medium sized, friendly expression, high ears, effortless gait, no excess weight, bushy tail with a curve

Other Facts
Siberian Husky's helped the Army during World War II with the Arctic Search and Rescue Unit. They need daily exercise because they are a hard working breed, and at least a weekly brushing of their coat. They should be supervised around small animals.
